About UsTrevor is a vastly experienced, postgraduate-trained manipulative physiotherapist who qualified in 1996 and has owned a physiotherapy practice for the last 12 years. His interest in golf developed when he was asked to be the physiotherapist at the World Cup of Golf at Gulf Harbour Country Club in 1998. Since then he has worked with a large number of golfers, including professionals on the US, European and Australasian PGA tours. He has been working with the New Zealand Titleist Academy and New Zealand Golf since 2003 and was a New Zealand Academy of Sport Physiotherapy Provider for Golf until the sport lost its funding in 2007. In 2004 Trevor was able to combine his passion for golf and his skill for optimizing the human body through physiotherapy and muscle balance by establishing Golf Works Ltd. In 2008 Trevor attained his Masters in Physiotherapy with First Class Honours, having completed a thesis that focused on the effects that alterations in set up posture have on a golfers ability to develop X-factor in the golf swing. Trevor now specializes in working with a number of the country's leading golf coaches, touring professionals and club amateurs with the aim of providing all levels of golfers with bodies that will help to optimize their golf swings and help them to realize their golfing potential. |
